Eyewitness News: The Easter Trail is a fun, meaningful, and interactive experience for children and families that brings the events of Holy Week to life in a way that’s memorable and kid-friendly.
Perfect for churches, schools, or community events, this self-guided trail includes 12 stations where kids will “interview” characters from the Easter story by scanning QR codes and watching short video monologues.
Each character—from the donkey seller to Mary at the empty tomb—shares their part of the story, leading participants through the journey of Jesus’ final days, death, and resurrection.

🎯 How to Use the Trail:
- Print one worksheet per child or group.
- Print and display the 12 QR code station signs around your space (indoors or outdoors).
- Children scan the QR codes using a smartphone or tablet and watch each character’s short video message.
- After each video, they write the name of the person they met on their worksheet.
- Each station ends with a clue to help them find the next one. Make sure they follow the numbers in order.
- At the final stop, the Reporter congratulates them and reminds them: “Now it’s your turn to share the wonderful news with others!”
