Soccer VBS (World Football Champions).

We are excited to be able to share with you this VBS / Holiday Club program with a Football theme. The focus over the five days is to share the wonderful news of the gospel with children in a way they will understand.

Overview

Day 1: The Referee – We will see that God is a fair judge, who judges all equally

Day 2: The Substitute: Jesus came to swap places with us.

Day 3: Training: We need to be disciples and grow in our faith.

Day 4: Position: God has a place in His church for us and a special job for us to do.

Day 5: Goal: We need to remain focused in our Spiritual life.

Scripts (Puppets or Drama)

Each day includes a puppet of drama script to apply the days message. There are also audio track which you could use along side puppets.

Small Group Questions

Following the script, we encourage you to split the children into smaller groups and help them to reflect and explore the Biblical lesson together. We’ve included some small group study guides as a tool to get you started.

There are also memory verse cards to help children remember the day’s scripture.

Fun group games

There is a soccer theme, but we wanted to include some general fun games also. Here is an example of a few.

We’ve also included some games with a soccer theme.

Football drills for kids

Also some fun soccer drills, so children can practice their football skills while having fun and collecting points for their team.

Worksheets

Worksheets are great for sit down time, so we’ve included a choice for a mixed age range. We have also included answer pages.

Easy and Fun Crafts

Children love crafts and it special time to talk with them around a table. We’ve tried to include crafts which are both fun and low cost to make.
