About This Baby Bible Lesson

This free printable Baby Bible lesson gently introduces babies and toddlers to the Bible passage about the woman who touched Jesus’ robe. She had been sick for twelve years and believed Jesus could help her. She reached through the crowd, touched the edge of His clothes, and was made well. Through simple words, repeated actions, music, sensory play, and visual learning, little ones begin to learn one clear truth: Jesus makes me well.

Designed especially for ages 0–2, this lesson focuses on connection, repetition, and early faith formation. Babies experience the Bible passage through movement, touch, rhythm, simple signs, high-contrast cards, and loving interaction.

The lesson presents the passage through simple action cards, including making a sad face, listening for the news that Jesus was coming, squeezing shoulders to show a crowded space, reaching out toward Jesus, using the Touch sign, smiling and clapping when the woman is healed, looking around when Jesus asks who touched Him, and patting the legs to represent going in peace.

The lesson also includes a gentle Feel the Fringe sensory activity. Babies can hold a clean scarf, blanket, or piece of fabric with securely attached tassels or trim and gently run their fingers along the edge while hearing that the woman reached out to touch Jesus’ clothes and that Jesus has great power and care.
