Trueway Kids Resource Use and Permissions

rueway Kids creates free Bible resources to serve families, churches, teachers and children around the world.

You are welcome to download, print and use our resources for teaching. We ask that you respect the conditions below so the lessons remain free, clearly credited and available from their original source.

You may

You may download and print Trueway Kids resources for:

• Your own family
• Homeschooling
• Sunday school
• Children’s church
• Bible clubs and midweek groups
• Christian schools and nurseries
• Mission and outreach activities
• Holiday clubs and Vacation Bible School
• Other free teaching activities within your church or local community

You may print enough copies for the children, teachers and volunteers taking part in your own class, group or programme.

You may also:

• Use a complete lesson or select only the pages and activities you need
• Adjust how you teach an activity to suit the age, needs and abilities of your group
• Enlarge printed pages for accessibility
• Share links to Trueway Kids lesson pages
• Recommend Trueway Kids resources to other families, churches and teachers

No payment or additional permission is required for these uses.

You may not

Trueway Kids resources may not be:

• Sold in printed or digital form
• Resold through a website, shop, marketplace or social-media account
• Included in a paid product, bundle, curriculum or resource pack
• Included as part of a paid subscription, membership, course or download library
• Used to add value to a commercial package or service
• Uploaded to another website, app, online drive or file-sharing platform
• Shared publicly as PDF files through social media, messaging groups or email lists
• Copied and republished on another website
• Presented as material created by another person, church or organisation
• Rebranded with another name, logo or copyright notice
• Edited and redistributed as a new or adapted resource
• Used to create derivative products for sale or wider distribution
• Used to train, build or supply a commercial content library or automated content service

Trueway Kids resources must not be “made your own,” even when they have been edited, reformatted, translated or combined with other materials.

Copyright and branding

Unless otherwise stated, all Trueway Kids lessons, text, illustrations, activity sheets, designs, videos and downloadable materials are protected by copyright.

The Trueway Kids name, website address, branding and copyright information must remain visible and unchanged.

Using or printing a resource does not transfer ownership or copyright to the user.

You may not remove, cover, crop out or replace Trueway Kids copyright information. You may not add your own name, logo or branding in a way that suggests you created, published or own the resource.

Sharing resources

Please share the link to the relevant lesson page on the Trueway Kids website rather than uploading or forwarding the PDF itself.

Sharing the original link helps people:

• Receive the latest version
• Find related resources
• Understand the permitted use
• Download directly from the original source
• Help us continue making the lessons freely available

You may give printed copies directly to the children, teachers and volunteers taking part in your own group or programme.

You may not create a public or private online library of Trueway Kids PDF files for others to download.

Using resources at paid events

You may use Trueway Kids resources during a church event, holiday club, school activity or similar programme that charges a reasonable attendance fee to cover genuine costs such as:

• Food
• Craft materials
• Venue hire
• Childcare
• Printing
• General event expenses

However, the Trueway Kids resources themselves must not be sold or described as part of a paid resource package.

The event fee must not be presented as payment for access to Trueway Kids materials.

Printed packs

You may prepare printed lesson packs for children and leaders taking part in your own church, class or programme.

You may recover reasonable, direct printing costs where necessary. You may not make a profit from the materials or charge for their content.

Printed packs must retain all Trueway Kids branding and copyright information.

You may not print packs for resale, commercial distribution or use by unrelated organisations without written permission.

Editing and adapting lessons

You may make practical adjustments while teaching, such as:

• Choosing only the pages you need
• Simplifying verbal instructions
• Changing the timing of an activity
• Using alternative craft materials
• Providing additional explanations
• Enlarging a page for accessibility
• Adapting how an activity is delivered for your group

You may not edit the digital files and then publish, upload, sell or distribute the altered version.

Please contact us before creating or distributing:

• A translated edition
• A redesigned edition
• An accessible digital edition
• A large-print edition for public distribution
• A version carrying another organisation’s branding
• A substantially adapted or rewritten version

Translations

Please contact Trueway Kids before translating or distributing any of our resources.

We welcome help with translation, especially into languages where children’s Bible materials are limited. Working with us helps ensure that translations:

• Are accurate
• Remain properly credited
• Use the correct artwork and formatting
• Stay free for everyone
• Are made available through the official Trueway Kids website

An unofficial translation may not be published or distributed without written permission.

Churches, schools and organisations

A church, school or ministry may use Trueway Kids materials internally for its own children, classes and teaching teams.

This permission does not allow an organisation to:

• Add the resources to its own public download library
• Distribute the files to other organisations
• Place them inside a paid curriculum
• Rebrand them
• Resell them
• Claim ownership
• Grant permission to others to reproduce them

Please contact us if you want to use the resources across a large network, denomination, school group, publishing project or training programme.

Online teaching and recorded content

You may show limited pages or activities while teaching a live or recorded lesson, provided that:

• Trueway Kids is clearly credited
• The resource is used as part of genuine teaching
• The full PDF is not displayed or distributed
• Viewers are directed to the original Trueway Kids lesson page
• The content is not repackaged as a competing or commercial resource

You may not create videos, courses or downloadable products that reproduce substantial parts of Trueway Kids materials.

Images, illustrations and individual elements

Trueway Kids illustrations, activity sheets, graphics and written content may not be extracted and reused separately.

They may not be used as:

• Clip art
• Stock images
• Templates
• Colouring-book content
• Worksheet components
• Social-media graphics
• Merchandise
• Commercial teaching materials
• Content for another website or app

Permission to use a complete lesson does not grant permission to reuse its individual parts elsewhere.

Artificial intelligence and automated systems

Trueway Kids resources may not be uploaded, copied or supplied for the purpose of training, developing or improving artificial intelligence systems, automated content generators or commercial datasets without written permission.

They may not be used to produce competing lessons, rewritten resources, derivative products or large-scale content collections.

Why these conditions matter

Trueway Kids is a family-led Christian ministry supported through voluntary contributions, online content, work alongside local churches, and people who serve with us through prayer, translation and practical help.

We want families and churches to use the lessons freely.

These conditions are intended to prevent the resources from being copied, claimed, repackaged or sold by others. Protecting the work in this way helps us keep the resources free and available from their original source.

Requesting permission

Please contact us before any use that is not clearly permitted on this page.

This includes requests involving:

• Large-scale distribution
