About This Baby Bible Lesson

This free printable Baby Bible lesson gently introduces babies and toddlers to the Bible passage about Queen Esther. Esther becomes queen, but her family and friends are in danger. When the time comes to help, Esther asks everyone to pray. She bravely goes to see the king, and God helps keep her people safe.

Through simple words, repeated actions, music, sensory play, and visual learning, little ones begin to learn one clear truth: God hears me pray.

Designed especially for ages 0–2, this lesson focuses on connection, repetition, and early faith formation. Babies experience the Bible passage through movement, simple signs, high-contrast cards, crown play, prayer actions, brave body movements, and loving interaction.

The lesson presents the passage through simple action cards, including pretending to put on a crown when Esther becomes queen, making a quiet serious face when her family and friends are worried, sitting tall to show bravery when it is time for Esther to help, using the Pray sign when Esther asks everyone to pray, patting the knees as she walks in to see the king, stretching out an arm to represent the king’s gold staff, cheering when her people are kept safe, and using the Pray sign again to remember that God listens whenever we pray.

The lesson also includes an Esther’s Crown sensory activity. Babies and toddlers can place and remove large felt or cardstock crowns on a laminated picture of Queen Esther, repeating the activity while hearing that Esther was brave and that God helped her.
