Acts 27
Trueway Baby Bible lesson for ages 0–2
About This Baby Bible Lesson
This free printable Baby Bible lesson gently introduces babies and toddlers to the Bible passage about Paul’s shipwreck in Acts 27. Paul travels on a ship when a powerful storm begins. The wind blows hard, the waves grow big, and eventually the ship breaks apart. Paul trusts what God has said, and everyone reaches the shore safely.
Through simple words, repeated actions, music, sensory play, and visual learning, little ones begin to learn one clear truth: God keeps me safe.
Designed especially for ages 0–2, this lesson focuses on connection, repetition, and early faith formation. Babies experience the Bible passage through movement, simple signs, high-contrast cards, storm sounds, water-themed sensory play, and loving interaction.
The lesson presents the passage through simple action cards, including patting the knees as Paul gets on the ship, moving the arms like large waves when the storm begins, blowing softly to represent the strong wind, using the Safe sign as Paul says God will keep everyone safe, dropping the hands when the ship breaks apart, moving the arms like swimming as everyone reaches the shore, and clapping to celebrate that God kept them safe.
The lesson also includes a Storm in a Bottle sensory activity. Babies and toddlers can shake securely sealed clear bottles containing water, blue colouring, baby oil, and silver glitter to watch the swirling movement resemble stormy water while hearing how God kept Paul safe during the storm.

Watch & Sing Along
“God Will Care for Me”
Optional tune: London Bridge Is Falling Down
God was with them in the storm,
In the storm, in the storm.
God was with them in the storm,
He kept them safe.
When I’m scared, I trust in Him,
Trust in Him, trust in Him.
When I’m scared, I trust in Him,
God cares for me.
Singing together supports bonding, rhythm, early language development, movement, and repetition of the lesson’s key truth.
Parent Take-Home Connection
The parent take-home sheet reminds families that their child learned: God is always in control and keeps us safe.
It includes simple home ideas such as Blue Blanket Waves, gently moving the edges of a soft blue blanket up and down to create rolling waves, and Float or Sink Play, testing safe objects in water and remembering how Paul and the other people held onto floating pieces and reached the shore.
Families can also practise the Safe sign and sing the lesson song during the week.
