About This Baby Bible Lesson

This free printable Baby Bible lesson gently introduces babies and toddlers to the Bible passage in 1 Samuel 16:1–13. Samuel went to find the person God had chosen to be king. Jesse’s older sons looked strong and impressive, but God reminded Samuel that He does not look at outward appearance the way people do. When David came in from caring for the sheep, God showed Samuel that David was the one He had chosen.

Through simple words, repeated actions, music, sensory play, and visual learning, little ones begin to learn one clear truth: God looks at my heart.
