Judges 13–16
Trueway Baby Bible lesson for ages 0–2
About This Baby Bible Lesson
This free printable Baby Bible lesson gently introduces babies and toddlers to the Bible passage in Judges 13–16. Little ones learn that God made Samson strong, Samson prayed when he needed help, and God heard his prayer.
Through simple words, repeated actions, music, sensory play, and visual learning, babies begin to learn two clear truths: God makes me strong and God hears our prayers.
Designed especially for ages 0–2, this lesson focuses on connection, repetition, and early faith formation. Babies experience the Bible passage through movement, sound, touch, facial expression, and loving interaction.
The lesson presents Samson through simple action cards, including rocking a baby, touching long hair, showing strong muscles, making praying hands, pushing imaginary pillars, and placing a hand near the ear to remember that God listens.
The lesson also includes a hands-on Knock Down Pillars sensory activity. Babies push over small towers made from soft foam or lightweight plastic blocks, helping them connect movement and play with Samson pushing the pillars.

Watch & Sing Along
“God Made Samson Strong”
Optional tune: Mary Had a Little Lamb
God made Samson very strong,
Very strong, very strong.
God made Samson very strong,
With long and wavy hair!
God can make me strong today,
Strong today, strong today.
God can make me strong today,
He hears me when I pray!
Singing together supports bonding, rhythm, early language development, and repetition of the lesson’s key truths.
Parent Take-Home Connection
The parent take-home sheet reminds families that their child learned: God makes us strong. God hears our prayers.
It includes simple ideas such as Hairbrush Praise, talking about Samson while brushing the baby’s hair, and Push Play, where the child gently pushes against an adult’s open hands. Families can also practise the Strong sign and sing the lesson song during the week.
