Numbers 13

Trueway Baby Bible lesson for ages 0–2

About This Baby Bible Lesson

This free printable Baby Bible lesson gently introduces babies and toddlers to the Bible passage in Numbers 13, where Moses sent twelve spies to see the land God had promised. Through simple words, repeated movements, high-contrast visuals, and sensory interaction, little ones begin to learn one clear truth: I am brave with God.

Designed especially for ages 0–2, this lesson focuses on connection, repetition, and early faith formation. Babies experience the Bible passage through movement, sound, touch, looking, listening, and loving interaction—helping them begin to connect God’s promises with trust and courage.

The lesson introduces the Twelve Spies through simple action cards, including Moses sending the spies to see the land, the spies seeing big walls, yummy fruit, milk and honey, some spies feeling scared, and Joshua and Caleb trusting God.

The lesson also uses a “Spying Out the Land” sensory activity, where babies look through toy binoculars or cardboard-roll binoculars at a block “castle” and explore sealed milk and honey sensory bottles. This playful activity helps little ones connect looking, noticing, tasting imagery, courage, and God’s good gifts in a simple, age-appropriate way.

Watch & Sing Along

“The Spies Went to the Land”
(Optional Tune: The Farmer in the Dell)

The spies went to the land,
The spies went to the land,
They saw the fruit so big and sweet,
The spies went to the land!

Joshua was brave,
Joshua was brave,
